BlueCall, headquartered in Sweden, operates as a B2B SaaS enterprise with a primary focus on proactively improving employees' mental well-being within the workplace environment.
During the period spanning from 2021 through 2022, my collaboration primarily revolved around working closely with the Product and Technology teams to elevate the overall user experience within BlueCall's application. The objectives for my project encompassed:
Enhancing the User Experience: From a user-centric viewpoint, the key objectives entailed optimizing navigation within the app, ensuring that users can effortlessly access its core features. Additionally, a primary goal was to facilitate new users in extracting maximum value from the application within the shortest possible timeframe.
Boosting Business Metrics: From a business-oriented standpoint, the central aim was to bolster user activation and engagement rates within the app, thereby promoting its sustained use and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
This collaborative effort aimed to make BlueCall's application a more user-friendly and engaging platform, ultimately contributing to the improvement of employee mental well-being in workplaces across various organizations.
My Role
Product Designer, worked alongside a Senior Product Designer.
UX Design: I worked on the entire spectrum of user research and UX design activities. Additionally, I actively contributed to the development and maintenance of our comprehensive Design System.
Motion Design: I created compelling and engaging product demonstration videos that effectively communicate BlueCall product's value & functionality.
Email Design: I crafted several visually appealing email campaigns. These design templates were strategically aimed at enhancing user activation and retention, contributing significantly to the company’s overall marketing and engagement strategies.

Overview
At the start of 2021, BlueCall aimed to elevate the user experience within its application. I spearheaded the design efforts within the User Activation & Engagement project, taking on responsibilities that spanned problem statement definition, user research execution, design solution ideation, usability testing. I worked in a close collaboration with a diverse cross-functional team encompassing Product, Engineer, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to shape our product strategy. Additionally, I played a key role in establishing and enhancing BlueCall's design system, contributing to its growth and refinement.
Brief Overview of BlueCall's Design System
In addition to my UX design responsibilities, I was also involved in crafting icons and bespoke design templates tailored for email and social media campaigns. Moreover, I shouldered the responsibility of executing motion design tasks, wherein I meticulously crafted product demonstration videos that prove invaluable to BlueCall’s Sales and Customer Success teams in their interactions with both potential and existing clients.
In December 2021, BlueCall provided a glimpse of its recently launched feature (which I collaborated on) in their LinkedIn post.
