My Story

As a curious mind with a Master’s degree in Psychology, one day I wandered out of my career in HR and stumbled into the exciting world of UX Design. That leap into Human-Computer Interaction realm was a bold experiment, and let's just say—it was love at first prototype! 😍

My time in HR gave me some serious people skills and a laser-focused empathy for solving real-world problems. Mix that with my unshakable passion for artistic creativity, and UX Design became the perfect match for me—like a canvas just waiting to be painted with innovative solutions! 🎨

Born in Indonesia, I’ve now found myself soaking up the Swedish way of life, and the journey has been one of embracing diversity in all its brilliant shades. Every experience has taught me that blending different perspectives is what makes life—and design—a colorful, vibrant masterpiece. 🌍

What people say about me

  • Antti is my Product Manager at H&M Group

“Yosie is fast learner, very curious about H&M, our customer and UX. A real team player and she's very proactive and connects with engineers, analyst and other teams where needed. Yosie also has met with stakeholders to understand better their objectives and learn more on specific businesses at H&M - showing her interest in customers also beyond UI interactions.

She is flexible and delivers good quality fast, whether its needed iterations or preparing to present. Her presentation skills in demos are great - calm, structured and strong storytelling.

Yosie was one of the few designers available for PDP hackathon, she took hands-on approach to this work, assisted to get vision moving forward, got great experince with design system that is now benefitting the whole product team.

She has picked up many processes and taken lead where needed also when context or assignment is new. Team player, has trust in her colleagues, looks for smart ways to work and deliver value.”

  • Sree was my manager at BlueCall

“Yosie played an integral role in introducing new features and improving existing features’ usability to increase the activation of our users. She worked on the entire product discovery process, product planning, and implementation process.

She is very empathic to users and this reflects in her communication with them. She is a strong team player and great at collaborating with colleagues at all levels to provide design solutions for their problems, whether it is related to increasing CTA in the email activation project with customer success or easy-to-use templates in Figma to help scale marketing social media activities. When the circumstances demand, she is self-initiated and not afraid to make necessary decisions to move the project forward.

As part of her performance review, one of the strongest pieces of feedback from all team members is that they like working with her. The team also described her as competent in her work, rich in unique ideas, super flexible, keeps things simple, helpful and inspiring. She is happy to teach and share her knowledge in UX Design with her non-design colleagues.

Yosie is eager to learn, listens, and adapts quickly to the situation. She has had a tremendous learning curve during her time at BlueCall. She is highly skilled with UX Research and continues to have a strong desire to improve her skills. I would hire Yosie in a heartbeat when the need for a full-time product designer comes into my team, and she will be a great asset to any team/company she joins.”

  • Isabel was my colleague at Pink Programming

“She has a rare combination of human qualities, technical skills and a driven mindset that is really useful for a UX designer. On several occasions, she has shown genuine care and empathy for all team members, checking in on us regularly. She's also very generous, spontaneously sharing her valuable knowledge of areas like digital marketing and human resources.

Yosie's ability to quickly learn by doing is admirable. She started as a social media producer for the Stockholm chapter, but soon after she was assuming responsibilities in other areas. On one occasion, she taught herself Mailchimp and Wordpress. The result was a well-crafted newsletter that truly communicated the organization's brand identity and was rightfully complimented by several members of the team.

I've also been impressed by her creativity when facing challenges. She's able to think out of the box and notice areas of improvement that aren't always obvious. Just earlier today, she provided me with useful tips to curate my digital presence.

Last but not least, Yosie's intercultural experience has proven invaluable for Pink Programming. Her language skills and adaptability fit in perfectly with our culturally diverse team. She's a very agreeable colleague, both at a personal and professional level.

I'm very grateful to have worked with Yosie. Any team will be very fortunate to have her!”
